These small bites pack big flavor featuring a Texas Pete® Hotter Hot Sauce infused jam topped on a warm, crunchy baguette with cream cheese & microgreens! Serve before a savory holiday dinner party with a glass of Syrah wine or your favorite mocktail!
Ingredients
8 oz. Thick-Cut Bacon, diced
1⁄2 cup Yellow Onions, finely diced
1 oz. Whiskey
1⁄2 cup Brown Sugar
1⁄4 cup Texas Pete® Hotter Hot Sauce
1 French Bread Baguette, sliced, toasted
1 (8.5 oz.) Cream Cheese
1⁄4 cup Microgreens
Directions
1. In a large nonstick skillet over high heat, add bacon and cook for about 10 minutes or until bacon is crispy but not burned. Remove bacon from skillet, set aside. Leave remaining grease in skillet.
2. Add onions to the skillet with bacon grease and cook for 8 minutes, stirring constantly. Reduce the heat to low and continue cooking for another 30 minutes until onions have caramelized.
3. Remove from heat, and then add whiskey.
4. Place back on heat and add cooked bacon and brown sugar to the skillet and cook for 30 minutes on low until it resembles jam consistency. Remove from heat and stir in Texas Pete® Hotter Hot Sauce. Store in an airtight container and refrigerate until ready to serve.
5. Serve and enjoy!

A delicious southern classic with a Texas Pete® twist! Using Sabor by Texas Pete® Mexican-Style Hot Sauce mixed together with your creamy filling ingredients and topped with fresh radishes and bacon…these eggs are sure to be the hottest crowd fave!
Ingredients
- 5 tbsp. ¡Sabor! by Texas Pete® Mexican-Style Hot Sauce
- 10 Eggs, hard-boiled
- 1 cup Pimento Cheese, prepared
- 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
- 4 tbsp. Chives
- 1 bunch Radishes, sliced
- 20 slices Candied bacon
Directions
- In a large pot, cover 10 eggs with water and bring to a boil for one minute.
- Turn off heat and let sit for 14 minutes covered.
- Drain water from pot and fill back up with ice cold water. Once cooled, peel eggs and cut in half.
- Reserve egg yolks separately from the whites.
- In a medium bowl, thoroughly mix pimento cheese, mayo, egg yolks and ¡Sabor! by Texas Pete® Mexican-Style Hot Sauce.
- Fill a piping bag with egg mixture or use a spoon to fill each egg white.
- Garnish with chives, a radish slice and candied bacon.

- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 4 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup Texas Pete® Wing sauce or Texas Pete® Hot Sauce
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles
Directions
PREHEAT oven to 350°F.
COMBINE all ingredients and spoon into shallow 1-quart baking dish.
BAKE 20 minutes or until mixture is heated through; stir. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired. Serve with crackers and/or vegetables.
