Serving Up: Baked Firecracker Salmon

This recipe will be your next summer staple—creamy salmon with salty, sweet, and spicy Cha! Sriracha Sauce all come together to make for the perfect dinner dish!

PREP TIME: 30 minutes    Serving size: 2 Servings

INGREDIENTS

  • 2, 6 oz. (approximately) fresh salmon fillets
  • ¼ Cup honey
  • ¼ Cup Siracha Cha! By Texas Pete®
  • 3 Tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon ginger paste
  • 3 Tablespoons sliced green onions or Cilantro
  • Lime wedges for garnish

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking tray with foil.
  2. Salt the salmon skin and lay the skin side down on the foil.
  3. Make the marinade by mixing Cha!, soy sauce, ginger paste, and honey. Pour evenly over the salmon, turning to coat.
  4. Bake the salmon in the oven for around 15 minutes until it starts to flake and is cooked to your preferred level of doneness.
  5. Serve with jasmine rice and spoon over any excess sauce from the tray. Top with sliced green onion and lime wedges to squeeze over for extra Zing.

RECIPE NOTES

  • This dish pairs well with sautéed broccoli or green beans (cook them in sesame oil and garlic).
  • Substitute noodles or stir-fried vegetables for another variation.
