Tex-Mex Street Corn Salad

  • 2 tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 2 (14 oz.) cans Corn, drained
  • 1 tbsp Texas Pete® Dust Dry Seasoning
  • 2 tbsp Texas Pete® Original Hot Sauce
  • ¼ cup Lime Juice
  • ½ cup Sour Cream
  • ½ cup Red Onion, diced
  • ½ cup Red Bell Pepper, diced
  • ½ cup Avocado, diced
  • ½ cup Cotija Cheese, crumbled
  • ¼ cup Fresh Cilantro, minced


  1. In a large frying pan over high heat, melt the butter until bubbly. Add the corn and Texas Pete® Dust Dry Seasoning. Once corn begins to char, remove from heat and set aside to cool.
  2. Combine sour cream, lime juice, salt, and Texas Pete® Original Hot Sauce in a small bowl. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the charred corn, red onion, red pepper, avocado, cotija cheese, spicy sour cream mixture, and half of the cilantro.
  4. Garnish with remaining cilantro. Serve and enjoy!
