Muffuletta Avocado Toast

  • 1 ripe, avocado, peeled and seeded
  • 1 Tbsp. ¡Sabor! by Texas Pete® Mexican-Style Hot Sauce
  • 2 slices Pumpernickel bread
  • 1/3 C drained, chopped coarsely Green Olives
  • 1/3 C seeded, drained, chopped Kalamata Olives
  • ¼ C finely chopped parsley
  • ¼ C chopped pimento
  • ¼ tsp. ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp. finely chopped fresh oregano
  • 1 Tbsp. Texas Pete® Sautéed Garlic Flavor Hot Sauce


  1. In a medium-mixing bowl, combine muffuletta topping ingredients, mix well and set aside.
  2. In a second medium-mixing bowl, combine avocado and ¡Sabor!, mash with a fork.
  3. Toast bread.
  4. To serve; over one side of toast, top with avocado spread then add muffuletta topping (2-3 Tbsp. per serving). Remaining topping can be refrigerated for later use.
  5. Serve immediately.
