Beer Cheese with a Kick

  • 16 oz. Breakfast Sausage, cooked, grease drained, crumbled
  • 4 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded, divided
  • 16 oz. Cream Cheese, cubed, room temperature
  • 4 Tbsp. Texas Pete® Sautéed Garlic Flavor Hot Sauce
  • 1 cup Beer (lager or ale)
  • ¼ cup Green Onions, diced


  1. Preheat oven to 350 F degrees.
  2. Place half of the cheddar cheese, cream cheese, Texas Pete® Sautéed Garlic Flavor Hot Sauce and beer into a food processor. Blend until thoroughly combined.
  3. In a large bowl, add sausage and cheese mixture, stir until thoroughly combined. Pour mixture into an oven safe dish or skillet, top with remaining cheddar cheese and bake for 20 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven and garnish with green onions. Keep warm until ready to serve. Serve with crostini, crackers, or pretzels and enjoy!
