From time to time we automatically collect certain personal information directly from you, using online tracking technologies, through in-store and other offline technologies, from our business partners, from social media platforms or otherwise when engaging with the websites or when you otherwise correspond with us.

- Account Creation, Access to Features, Logon Process. We may use third party service providers to help us with our day-to-day business activities. Where we use third parties, they may share personal data about you with us.

- Account Registration and Management. You are able to create an account with us during the checkout process and on various pages on our site through Garner Foods. Creating an account allows you to track your purchases and receive a more personalized shopping experience. When you register for an account, log in through an existing account, manage and administer your account and to provide Services related to your account we receive, first and last name, date of birth, country, email address, phone number, communications preferences, purchase history, account password, and other information related to you or others which you provided to us.
- Processing Transactions. Garner Foods uses third party payment providers who are PCI-DSS compliant to process all transactions through our websites. When you make a purchase, our third party payment provider may share with us your name, email address, billing address, transaction information (i.e., amount of transaction, time of transaction, and transaction ID), payment method, phone number and other information in order for us to process your order and send you the items you purchased.
- Engaging with You on Social Media. If you interact with us on social media or use features, such as plugins, widgets, or other tools made available by social media platforms or networks (including Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest) in connection with our website, we collect information that you share with us or that the social media platforms share with us. - To Develop Our Websites, Products and Services. We may use your personal data to further develop our existing websites, products and services, including artificial intelligence tools and features, or to develop new products and services.
- To Protect The Websites, Us, and Others. We may use your personal data as part of our efforts to keep the websites safe and secure (for example, for fraud monitoring and prevention) and to protect others from harm or abuse.
- To Enforce Our Terms, Conditions, and Policies. - Disclosure of Personal Information.
The Websites may generally share personal data with each other so that we can provide our services to you, in so far as there is a legal basis. - Storing and Securing Your Personal Information.
We will only keep your personal data for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as business records, tax, accounting or other legal requirements). In determining data retention periods, we take into consideration the applicable law, contractual obligations, and your expectations.
When there is/are an indication(s) of potential legal claim(s) or liability, the retention period will be extended accordingly.
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal data, i.e. when we no longer have a legal basis in accordance with applicable law, we will either delete or anonymize it and we will make such determination based on applicable laws. When the processing of personal data is based on your consent, the data will be stored for as long as there is valid consent for the processing.
We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal data we collect, receive, use, or store, including measures designed to protect data transferred to different countries for use or processing in accordance with this Policy. We will do our best to protect your personal data taking into account the state of art, the cost of implementation and the nature, scope, context and purposes of processing as well as the risks of varying likelihood and severity for your rights and freedoms posed by the processing. - De-Identified (Anonymized) and Aggregate Data.
The websites may de-identify (also referred to as “anonymize”) and aggregate data for its business purposes, including but not limited to, improving the products and features of its services, maintaining the security and integrity of its systems, for analytics, and other legitimate business purposes. “De-identified Data” means information that cannot reasonably be used to infer information about, or otherwise be linked to a particular data subject. De-identified Data includes anonymized data and is no longer “personal data” under applicable data protection laws. Where we process De-identified Data, we commit to maintain and use the information in de-identified form and not attempt to reidentify the information, except where permitted by law. Some privacy laws require that we disclose the privacy rights that you may have regarding your personal information. We have defined the various rights below.
For all personal information that we collect about you, you may have the following rights or choices that we will accommodate where your requests meet legal and regulatory requirements and do not risk making our other data less secure or changing our other data. In addition, a business may not treat a consumer who exercises a consumer right differently than a consumer who does not exercise a right.
- Making a Request
If at any time you wish to make a privacy request, such as if your personal information should ever change, you wish to change your preferences, or to delete any personal information that you provided through your visits to our website, please let us know by sending an email to privacy@garnerfoods.com. In this request, you will need to provide your full name, email address, phone number, the type of privacy request you are submitting, the relationship to the account holder if submitting the request on their behalf. We are not responsible for any losses that could arise from any inaccurate, deficient, or incomplete personal information that you provide us.
For security reasons, we may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity, before we correct, update or delete any personal information you provide us.
- Verifying Your Identity
Once the request has been received, you may be asked to provide additional personal information for verification purposes, including your full name, email address, telephone number, billing address, previous purchase or order history, order number, account information, and additional identifiers as needed before your request can be accommodated. For requests involving specific pieces of information, we may also require you to sign a declaration under penalty of perjury that you are the consumer whose personal information is the subject of the request.
