Time: 10-15 min | Cook Time: 3-5 min
Ingredients
- 2 packages Flour Tortillas, cut into 4 triangles
- 1 tbsp. Texas Pete® Dust Dry Seasoning
- 4 cups Canola Oil
- Kosher Salt to taste
- 3 Avocados, halved, peeled
- 1⁄2 cup Red Onion, diced
- 1⁄2 cup Roma Tomato, pulp removed, diced
- 1 tbsp. Cilantro, chopped
- 1 tbsp. Lime Juice
- 2 tbsp. Texas Pete® Sautéed Garlic Flavor Hot Sauce
- 1⁄2 tsp. Cumin, ground
Directions
1. In a large frying pan, heat the oil to 350°F. Once heated, in batches, add the corn tortillas. Fry them until golden brown, flipping
halfway through, about 3-5 minutes depending on batch size. Place tortillas on a paper towel to absorb excess oil. While hot,
evenly sprinkle Texas Pete® Dust Dry Seasoning and kosher salt over chips.
2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine avocados, onion, Roma tomato, cilantro, lime juice, Texas Pete® Sautéed Garlic Flavor Hot
Sauce, cumin and salt together. Serve alongside chips and enjoy!
